How to use and set up EasyConnect
What is EasyConnect?
Easyconnect is a new feature in Content Studio that allows your clients to seamlessly link their social media accounts directly to Content Studio. Say goodbye to the risky exchange of sensitive login details. With EasyConnect, you can empower clients by providing a shareable connection link. After sharing the link with your clients and having them successfully link their accounts, you'll find these connected accounts visible in Content Studio. EasyConnect makes it simple for clients to attach social platforms while enabling account security.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can use and set Easyconnect links for your clients:
Step 1: Access the EasyConnect Feature
➡️ Navigate to your social accounts from the top right corner and locate the "EasyConnect" feature at the top.
➡️ Click on the "Create New Link" button to initiate the social account connection process.
Step 2: Generating a secure link for social account connection
➡️ Once you click on create new link button a popup will appear where you'll find the option to generate a secure link. This link acts as the golden key to seamlessly connect your client's social media accounts.
➡️ To create a secure link first add your Title and password (you can add your workspace name, client name, and brand name as a title). A title will later help you to differentiate and manage between the links.
➡️ Click on the Create button will generate a unique and secure link for your client.
Step 3: Sharing the link with clients
➡️ Copy the link and share it with your client via email or any preferred communication channel. Whether you're working with one client or multiple, EasyConnect ensures a hassle-free sharing process.
Step 4: Client's perspective: Accepting and Connecting accounts
➡️ The secure link takes your clients directly to the connection interface, where they can follow simple steps to integrate their social media accounts with Content Studio.
Managing EasyConnect Links
➡️ Click on the "EasyConnect links" option to see all of your existing links.
➡️ It will display a list of all your generated EasyConnect links. Each link will show its unique URL and status (enabled or disabled).
➡️ To enable or disable a link, click on the toggle. Enabling a link allows clients to connect their social media accounts using that link. Disabling a link prevents any new connections using that link.
➡️ To copy an EasyConnect link, click on the copy icon. This will copy the link's URL to your clipboard, allowing you to share it with the client.
➡️ To edit an EasyConnect link, click on the edit icon. A popup will appear, where you can modify the link's Title and password.
➡️ To delete an EasyConnect link, click on the delete icon. Confirm the deletion to permanently remove the link.
➡️ To view the connected social media accounts for a specific link, click on the "expand" next to the delete option. This will display a list of all the social media accounts that have been connected with that link.
Additional questions:
1. What if the client lost the secure link that was sent to him?
If the client loses the secure link, they can request a new one from their manager.
2. Can I use the same EasyConnect link to add more social media accounts after connecting the initial 10 accounts?
If you have already added 10 social accounts using an EasyConnect the link and want to add more, you can continue using the same link. You don't need to generate a new one. The original link will still allow you to connect additional social media accounts.
3. Who can delete the connected social media account?
Only the admin has the authority to remove social media accounts that are already connected.
4. Can I connect multiple social media accounts using the same secure link?
Yes, you can connect multiple social media accounts using the same secure link.
5. What happens if my social media account token expires?
If your client's social media account token expires, they will need to reconnect their account to Content Studio using the same link. Only the client can reconnect their account.
6. Can I use EasyConnect to connect social media accounts for multiple clients?
Yes, you can use EasyConnect to connect social media accounts for multiple clients. Each client will need their own secure link.
