What is EasyConnect?

EasyConnect is a ContentStudio feature that allows your clients to securely connect their social media accounts without sharing login credentials. Instead of exchanging sensitive details, you can simply generate a secure, shareable link and let clients connect their accounts themselves.

Once the connection is completed, the linked social media accounts automatically appear in your ContentStudio workspace. EasyConnect helps streamline client onboarding while keeping account access safe and secure.


How to Use EasyConnect

1 Navigate to Social Accounts from the top-right corner of your workspace and locate the EasyConnect option at the top.
2 Click on Create New Link to start generating a secure connection link for your client.

3 In the popup, add a Title and Password for the link. The title can include your workspace name, client name, or brand name to help you identify the link later.
4 Click Create to generate a unique and secure EasyConnect link.

5 Copy the generated link and share it with your client via email or any preferred communication channel.

6 The link directs your client to a secure interface where they can connect their social media accounts to ContentStudio by following on-screen instructions.
7 Once connected, the social media accounts automatically appear in your ContentStudio workspace.

1 Click on EasyConnect Links to view all previously generated links.
2 From here, you can:
  • View each link’s unique URL and current status (enabled or disabled).
  • Enable or disable a link using the toggle. Disabled links cannot be used for new connections.
  • Copy the EasyConnect link using the copy icon to share it with your client.
  • Edit the link title or password using the edit icon.
  • Delete an EasyConnect link by clicking the delete icon and confirming the action.
  • Expand a link to view all social media accounts connected through it.


FAQ's

1. What if the client lost the secure link that was sent to him?

If the client loses the secure link, they can request a new one from their manager. 

2. Can I use the same EasyConnect link to add more social media accounts after connecting the initial 10 accounts?

If you have already added 10 social accounts using an EasyConnect the link and want to add more, you can continue using the same link. You don't need to generate a new one. The original link will still allow you to connect additional social media accounts.

3. Who can delete the connected social media account?

Only the admin has the authority to remove social media accounts that are already connected.

4. Can I connect multiple social media accounts using the same secure link?

Yes, you can connect multiple social media accounts using the same secure link.

5. What happens if my social media account token expires?

If your client's social media account token expires, they will need to reconnect their account to Content Studio using the same link. Only the client can reconnect their account.

6. Can I use EasyConnect to connect social media accounts for multiple clients?

Yes, you can use EasyConnect to connect social media accounts for multiple clients. Each client will need their own secure link.
