How to set your preferred time and date formats in ContentStudio

Previously, you faced challenges due to inconsistent time formats across different parts of our application.

To address this, we’ve introduced a new feature that allows you to set a preferred time format, ensuring consistency and clarity throughout the application.

This enhancement streamlines your experience by aligning all time displays with your chosen format, making it easier to manage schedules and interpret data. 📅⏰

The new feature allows you to select from various date and time formats to match their regional preferences or personal tastes. This functionality enhances your experience by ensuring that dates and times are displayed in a familiar format.

You can view the "Time Format Preference" and "Date Format Preference."

Important:

Available Time Formats

The following time formats are now available:

  • 12-hour format with AM/PM: (e.g., 02:30 PM)
  • 24-hour format: (e.g., 14:30)

Available Date Formats

The following date formats are now available:

  • DD/MM/YYYY: Day-Month-Year (e.g., 05/08/2024)
  • MMM DD, YYYY: Abbreviated Month, Day, Year (e.g., Aug 05, 2024)
  • YYYY, MMM DD: Year, Abbreviated Month, Day (e.g., 2024, Aug 05)
  • DD MMM, YYYY: Day Abbreviated Month, Year (e.g., 05 Aug, 2024)

Select your desired time and date format from the above image and click the Update Profile button. The time and date format will be updated successfully.

  1. Composer (Scheduling and Drafting Posts): The chosen time and date formats will be applied when scheduling and drafting posts, enhancing clarity and precision in content management.

  1. App Notifications: All app notifications that include time and date information will now adhere to your selected formats, ensuring consistency and coherence in alerts and reminders.

  1. Inbox (Message Viewing): The inbox's time and date details will reflect your preferred formats, providing a clear and consistent timeline for communication.

  1. Analytics: In the Analyze module, date and time formats impact how data is displayed across various sections. This change affects all areas where dates and times are shown, ensuring consistency in reporting and analytics. Whether you're reviewing reports, tracking campaign performance, or analyzing trends, the chosen date and time formats will apply universally, making it easier to interpret and compare data over different periods. Here are some places where date and time formats will be affected.


  1. Media Library: The media library will consistently display times and dates based on your selected formats, making organizing and retrieving media assets more straightforward.

  1. Planner: Your selected time and date formats will be consistently applied across various views in the Planner, including:
    • Calendar View: Formats are applied to the calendar.

    • Feed View: Consistent time and date display for all the posts in the feed.

    • List View: Time and date details for all the posts.

    • Compact List View: Time and date details for all the posts.

    • Instagram Grid View: Formats applied to dates and times beneath each post.

    • TikTok Grid View: Dates and times under each post.

    • Post Details: When clicking on a post in any view, time and date formats are shown.

In the automation process, when creating and scheduling a new campaign, you must manually select the date format during this step.
