FAQs
Q1. Will the duplicated note have the same visibility settings?
Yes. By default, the duplicate note inherits the original note’s visibility. However, you can change it before saving.
Q2. Can I duplicate a note that is already in the past?
Yes. You can duplicate notes regardless of their original date. Just make sure to update the Start and End Dates if you want the new note to appear in the future.
Q3. Can I duplicate a recurring note or a note tied to an automation?
Currently, only standalone notes can be duplicated. Notes created through recurring settings or automation aren’t linked automatically to their duplicate.
Q4. What happens if I leave the date range unchanged?
The note will be duplicated on the same date range as the original. If you don’t want this, be sure to change the Start and End Dates before saving.
Q5. Can I duplicate a note that someone else created?
Yes, if you have visibility or permission to view the original note, you can duplicate it. However, any changes to visibility in the duplicated version will depend on your role and workspace permissions.
Q6. Can I duplicate a note multiple times?
Absolutely! You can repeat the duplicate action as many times as needed to create different versions.
