How to Use the Calendar While Scheduling Posts

1
Create your post
Open Composer, write your content and choose the account(s) you want to publish to.
2
Open scheduling
Click Schedule — the scheduling sidebar will open on the right so you can pick date and time.

3
Choose your scheduling option
In the sidebar, you can turn the monthly calendar on to view to help pick your time. Depending on how many accounts you’ve selected, you’ll see two possible options:

Same Time If you have selected single or multiple accounts, Same Time option will be selected by default. Just pick a single date and time, and it applies to those platforms.

Custom Time If you selected multiple accounts, the Custom Time option appears. This lets you assign different dates and times for each account separately.

Adjusting Posts by Drag-and-Drop
  • Only the post you’re currently scheduling can be dragged on the calendar — existing scheduled posts and notes are read-only.
  • When you drag your post to a new date, the schedule updates automatically — you don’t need to set the date manually.
  • Same Time: dragging changes the date/time for all accounts selected for this post.
  • Custom Time: dragging updates the date/time only for the specific account you moved.
  • Posts can only be moved to today or future dates.

Note: Only the in-progress post is movable — previously scheduled content cannot be changed from this calendar view.
