Publishing & Scheduling to Instagram using ContentStudio
With ContentStudio, you can now schedule Instagram posts for all your pages.
There are two methods for scheduling content on Instagram.
- Direct posting via Zapier (single image)
- Push notification method (images, videos, GIFs)
How to Schedule and Publish Content to Instagram
Compose Post
You can increase Instagram engagement by composing your images or videos. For this purpose:
Compose a post on ContentStudio platform or a mobile app.
Choose your Instagram account and press Done.
After adding images or video from the photo library click on ‘Post now’ and you’ll get notified when your post has added.
Posting via Zapier:
Design your image to match the particulars given below. If the post fulfills the requirements below, it will go through successfully
- The scheduled post can take at least 15 minutes (depending upon your plan with Zapier) to show up on Instagram.
- Multiple pictures, videos, IGTVs are not supported.
- The images that you post on Instagram need to have this specific aspect ratio:
Portrait: 4:5
Square: 1:1
Landscape: 1.91:1
This image aspect ratio is a compulsory requirement by Zapier in order to post directly on Instagram.
If you have a trial (free) account for Zapier, your post will take about 15 minutes to be published.
For Replug, the account does not have a Zapier connection, so the post will automatically be scheduled and published according to the Push Notification system
P.S: Published Status means that Zapier has fetched the post from ContentStudio's Queue. However, you must make sure that the post has successfully published on your Instagram page, or Zapier's Task History. ContentStudio does not get a callback from Zapier about the status of Zap execution.
Through Push Notifications/Mobile Posting:
ContentStudio 2.0 embraces you with an Instagram scheduling capability along with other social media platforms to schedule all types of content. Through the push notification method, the following content may be scheduled:
