What is the best time to post on Social Media channels
As a marketer, everyone would love to know the best time to publish their social media posts in order to get maximum reach and output.
In this article, we will discuss the much-awaited feature ''best time to post'' and how it can benefit your brand.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can post at the best time within the Content Studio.
Step 1: Click on Social Media Post in the Composer section under the Publish tab.
Step 2: Set up a post of your choice and select the relevant platform(s), category, text, media, etc. Once done, click on the schedule post option. Upon selection, you will see a clickable link under the calendar view with the message ''View Recommended Times''.
Step 3: Upon clicking on the View Recommended Times, a modal will popup containing a heat-map visualizing the Engagement probability score in context with given dates and hours of the day. By hovering over the blocks in the heat map you can see the time-stamp and probability of potential engagement at the given time. By clicking over any block you can select the time-stamp for scheduling the post.
Step 4: Clicking on these options will select the time and schedule the post as shown in the below image.
How it works:
For Facebook / Instagram
The calculation is done by getting the Engagements and impression of the last 3 months for a specific page w.r.t to the current date
E.g if the recommended time/date is 1 am 30th December then the user should check the following dates i- 29-30th November ii- 29-30th October iii- 29-30th September
If the sum of this impression and engagements is maximum within these days then the recommended time is correct.
For LinkedIn
The calculation is done by getting the Engagements of the last 3 months for a specific page
E.g if the recommended time/date is 1 am 30th December then the user should check the following dates i- 29-30th November ii- 29-30th October iii- 29-30th September
If the sum of Impressions is maximum within these days then the recommended time is correct
