Solution#1: Instagram Professional account enabled?

To enable certain features, your Instagram account must be in either Creator or Business mode.

If you currently have a Personal account, you can easily switch to a professional mode.

  • Access your Instagram account, navigate to the menu.
  • Click on Settings and privacy.
  • Select Account type and tools, then choose Switch to professional account.
  • From there, opt for either Business or Creator Account, proceed with the switch, and finalize the process by clicking Done. βœ…


Solution#2: Is an Instagram account connected to a Facebook page?


To connect your Instagram account, ensure it is associated with a Facebook page where you hold the role of Admin or Editor.

  • Navigate to your Facebook Page and access the "Manage" section, then proceed to "Linked accounts" and finally select "Instagram."

Connection Failed:

If you see a grey message with the blue button "Review Connection," that means that the connection has failed and you need to reconnect your Instagram account.

To review and update your Instagram account connection from your Facebook Page:
  1. Open your Facebook Page.
  2. Select Settings from the left navigation menu.
  3. Select Linked accounts.
  4. Select Instagram.
  5. If you have a connected Instagram account, and its connection needs updating, you will see a notice to Review Account Connection.
  6. Click on Review Connection.
  7. Follow the prompts to review and update your connection. You’ll need to enter your Instagram account password and complete 2-factor authentication if it is set up.

Solution#3: Manage Facebook Roles
