What is compact view?
Compact view is a streamlined version of your Planner’s calendar view, designed to display only essential post information. It gives you a bird’s-eye view of your content by fitting more post entries into each date cell, making your planning smoother and faster.
What’s different in compact view?
When enabled, the compact view shows the post:
- Media thumbnail
- The beginning of the caption
- Social media icons indicating the platforms the post is scheduled for
How to switch views?

FAQs
Q1. If the compact view is enabled and I try to disable media thumbnails, will it affect the calendar?
A: No, it won’t affect the compact view. The “Media Thumbnails” option only applies to the standard calendar view. In compact view, media is already shown in a minimized format, so disabling this option has no impact.
Q2. Does switching to compact view affect other users in my workspace?
A: No. It’s a personal setting—each team member can choose their preferred view without affecting others.
Q3. Will hiding media thumbnails remove the media from my post?
A: Not at all. The media is still attached to your post. A small media icon will appear to let you know it’s there—you’re just hiding the thumbnail in the calendar.
