How to create LinkedIn polls from composer?
With ContentStudio, you can now create LinkedIn Polls directly from the Composer. Whether you're collecting opinions, running a quick survey, or just encouraging interaction, polls let you do it all, without ever leaving your workspace.
Here’s how you can get started 🚀
🛠️ How to add a poll

- Start by selecting one or more LinkedIn profiles or Company Pages in the Composer. You'll see a poll icon in the Composer toolbar. Click it to open the poll setup popup.

- A modal will appear where you can add the following:
- Poll Question
- Poll Options
- You can add up to 4 total options
- Use “+Add option” to add an option or “-” to remove.
- Poll Duration: Choose how long the poll should run
- 1 day
- 3 days
- 1 week
- 2 weeks

- Once you’ve added your question, options, and duration, click Save.

- You’ll now see a preview of your poll attached to your post, so you can see exactly how it’ll appear on LinkedIn.

- Once everything looks good:
- Click Schedule to post later, or Publish Now to post immediately
- ContentStudio will send both your post and poll data to LinkedIn. Your audience will see the poll just like it appears in the preview.

Q1. Can I create polls for other platforms besides LinkedIn?
A: No, the poll feature is exclusive to LinkedIn. You’ll only see the poll icon when a LinkedIn profile or Company Page is selected in the Composer.
Q2. Can I include a poll and an image or link in the same LinkedIn post?
A: Currently, LinkedIn does not support polls with other media types (e.g., images, videos). If you add a poll, it will only include the caption and poll section.
Q3. Can I edit a poll after I’ve scheduled the post?
A: Yes, you can edit the poll in the Planner, but before the scheduled time.
Q4. Why don’t I see the poll icon in my Composer toolbar?
A: Make sure you’ve selected at least one LinkedIn account. The poll icon only appears when LinkedIn is chosen as the publishing platform.
