Compose a blog post - Write

ContentStudio provides a powerful editor to create and publish blog content.

Following are the steps to compose blog posts in ContentStudio.

1

Click on Publish and then Blog post to enter into the editor.

2

On the top left of your screen, you can assign an appropriate name and a little description to your blog post. This will later help you in not only identifying your post in drafts but also in the SEO of your article.

3

On the top right corner of your screen, you have the option to Assign Labels to your blog post. The labels can be the general genre of the post e.g. digital marketing, e-commerce, etc. You can also tag other team members in the blog post so they can see what you are doing. Finally, you can add your blog post to a broader campaign to group similar posts together.

4

The right corner of your screen has a toolbar that contains the Content Assistant and the SEO settings.

The assistant is the quickest way to curate content. You can simply search the web using a specific keyword that suits your content strategy. The search returns content relevant to the keyword. You can then sort this content w.r.t trending score, time and location. Once you have shortlisted your desired content, just drag and drop this article to the composer section.

You can segregate the content based on when it was uploaded, its demographics and its popularity.

5

You can also set the target Keyword for your article which is one word or phrase that best summarizes your page. This is what you hope people will type into a search engine to find the page. Your target keyword must be absolutely clear to you before you write even one word of the article. It is the word around which all the content revolves.

The blog composer has 4 stages.  Write, optimize, distribute and publish.

In this article, the first step is explained below.

Step 1 Write

This section is essentially the composer, where you can create the initial draft of your Blog post. Here you can compose your complete blog post just like you do in WordPress or any other medium. The composer has all the standard text option to help set you text color, headings, bold, italic, add pictures and files etc.

Once you have finished composing your blog post as far as its content and images are concerned, you can move onto the next section, which is setting the SEO parameters for better distribution.
