Welcome to the guide for using our social media management platform's new Instagram Carousel posting feature. This document will walk you through the steps of utilizing this exciting enhancement, which allows you to create engaging carousel posts directly from our platform. We have also updated the interface to streamline the posting options for a more intuitive user experience.

Accessing the updated interface
- Go to ContentStudio app
- Head to Compose -> Social Post
- Once you select an Instagram account, you will see the post type drop-down menu in the composer. Previously, there were radio buttons, but now you can choose your desired post type from this drop-down list. (For more details, read :How to post Instagram reels)
- Additionally, you can now post stories using any post type. For example, toggle the 'Add to Story' button if you selected a feed post and want to share it as a story.
- The post preview will also be changed as you change the post type.
Creating an Instagram carousel post
- Select an Instagram account and start composing a post. Add text and media files, including images and video.
Custom Thumbnail😊
You can now edit the thumbnail of a video by clicking on the 'Custom Thumbnail' icon on the video.
- Next, navigate to Instagram settings, select the publishing medium, and choose 'Carousel' as the post type. Once you select carousel, the desktop and mobile previews will appear on the right-hand side of the screen, displaying the images and videos in a carousel format.
Carousel Media Specs:
- Multiple or up to 10 images, videos, or both
- Image
- Format: JPEG (JPG), PNG
- File size: 8 MB max
- Aspect ratio: recommended 9:16 to avoid cropping or black space
- Video:
- Format: mov or mp4
- File size: 100 MB maximum
- Duration: 60 seconds maximum, 3 seconds minimum
- Aspect ratio: recommended 1:1 to avoid cropping or black space
- In the new interface, we have introduced a multiform posting feature that allows you to post in multiple formats simultaneously. For instance, when creating a carousel post, you can publish the same content as a story by toggling the 'Add to Story' button.
- Upon toggling this button, the preview will update to display the story view.
- Once the post is finalized, choose the desired posting schedule or post now. The published post will be displayed like this as a carousel and story.

- When you navigate to the Planner section and open the published carousel post, it will be displayed as follows.
- Each media file will show individual story statuses. Additionally, you can click the live link to view the original posted story on your Instagram profile.
