How to add notes to Planner

Effortlessly manage your plans and reminders with the Notes Creation feature in the Calendar View of ContentStudio's Planner module. Whether it’s a quick idea, a task to remember, or a detailed schedule, this feature allows you to add, edit, and organize your notes directly in the calendar. With customizable options like date ranges, colors, and descriptions, you can keep your workflow structured and visually appealing.

Adding a note

  1. Open the Planner module and navigate to the Calendar View.

  1. Hover your cursor over any date box to reveal the Notes icon.
  2. Click the Notes icon.

  1. Open the Add Note pop-up, which contains:
    • Title (mandatory): Add a meaningful title (up to 500 alphanumeric characters).
    • Description (optional): Provide additional details or context. Special characters are supported with no character limit.
    • Date Picker: Select a specific date or range of dates for the note.
    • Visibility: Select the note's visibility—choose between Only me (visible only to you) or Public(visible to all team members with access to the Planner). This ensures flexibility in sharing or restricting access to your notes.
    • Color: Choose a color to categorize or highlight the note.

  1. Once all fields are completed, click the Save Note button.
  2. You can also choose to show notes on the calendar using the Show Notes toggle.

Editing a note

  1. Locate the note in the Calendar View.
  2. Click on the note to open the Edit Note pop-up.
  3. Modify the Title, Description, Date, or Color fields as needed.
  4. Click Update Note to update the note.

Compose a post from a note

  1. While previewing a note, you can compose a post by clicking the Compose Post button.

  1. Upon clicking the Compose Post button, the Composer module will open. The note’s description and title will automatically be populated in the Composer module as the content for the post.

Deleting a note

  1. Locate the note in the Calendar View.
  2. Click on the three dots.
  3. Click the Delete Note button and confirm the action.

A: Yes, the Description field is optional. You can leave it blank if you only want to add a title and date.

A: All the team members can add notes.
