How to add notes to Planner

Effortlessly manage your plans and reminders with the Notes Creation feature in the Calendar View of ContentStudio's Planner module. Whether it’s a quick idea, a task to remember, or a detailed schedule, this feature allows you to add, edit, and organize your notes directly in the calendar. Adding a note

Notes help you add reminders, ideas, or context directly to your Planner calendar.

Go to Publisher → Planner module.

Hover over any date box in the calendar to reveal the Notes icon, then click it.

The Add Note pop-up includes the following fields:
  • Title (mandatory): Add a meaningful title (up to 500 alphanumeric characters).
  • Description (optional): Add extra details or context. Special characters are supported with no character limit.
  • Date Picker: Select a specific date or a range of dates for the note.
  • Visibility: Choose between Only me (private) or Public (visible to all team members with Planner access).
  • Color: Choose a color to categorize or highlight the note.

Once all fields are completed, click Save Note. You can also enable the Show Notes toggle to display notes directly on the calendar.

  • Enable the Repeat Note toggle to repeat a note by selecting a start and end date or by increasing the occurrence count.

Editing a note

To edit an existing note:
  • Locate the note in the Calendar View.
  • Click the note to open the Edit Note pop-up.
  • Update the Title, Description, Date, or Color as needed.
  • Click Update Note to save your changes.

Compose a post from a note

While previewing a note, click Social Post to create content directly from the note.
The Composer module opens automatically, with the note’s title and description pre-filled as your post content.

Deleting a note

To delete a note:
  • Find the note in the Calendar View.
  • Click the three dots menu.
  • Select Delete Note and confirm the action.

Q1: Can I leave the Description field blank when creating a note?

A: Yes, the Description field is optional. You can leave it blank if you only want to add a title and date.

Q2: Who can add a note in the Calendar View?

A: All the team members can add notes.
