How to Post as Page on Facebook Groups
A new Exciting feature has been added to ContentStudio which will help in Publishing the content as a page(s) on Facebook group(s).
To successfully publish your post as a Page on Facebook groups, it is necessary that your Facebook groups are connected. Follow the steps mentioned below:
Connecting Facebook Groups
Step 1: From the ContentStudio Dashboard, hover over to the top-right corner and open your Account Settings >Social Accounts as shown in the image below.
Step 2: Start a New Connection
Moving forward, on the social accounts page, click on Connect a new page/Group at the top right corner of the Facebook tab as illustrated.
Note: If you're connecting any profile for the first time, you will have to make sure you give all the permissions to ContentStudio. Click on Continue as (your profile name) and then click OK to complete the authorization process to avoid any issues in the connection down the road.
Step 3: Select Facebook Groups to connect
A pop-up will appear displaying a list of all the pages and groups you administrate that are associated with your profile. Select page(s) or groups(s) you want to connect to the ContentStudio platform or "Select All" and click on the Save button.
Step 4: Verify your connection
The pop-up will close and your selection in step 3 will be listed down in the Facebook table indicating a successful connection as seen below.
Note: If the drop-down under the "Published as" column is not showing the page(s), there is the possibility that either
- The page you are trying to select is not connected to the group or
- You don't have access to that page.
To avoid this issue you must connect the page(s) to the group you want to post in, or must be an admin to those page(s) or group(s)
Step 5: Who will be the Publisher?
Under the "Publish as" Column hover over the drop-down list letting you choose an option for how you want to publish your content either as a profile or a page on Facebook groups. The content will be published with the type of publisher selected.
Note: If you don't set the Publisher, it will automatically plan the post with the user profile with whom the Facebook Group is connected.
Publishing Post to Facebook Group as a Page
Step 1: Once the above steps are completed; hover over the "Publish" in the top navigation bar and select "Composer"
- Click on the "Social Media Post" on the composer screen.
