How to assign post to a team member?

Stay organized and streamline your team collaboration by assigning posts directly to your team members while composing!

Using ContentStudio, you can assign posts to specific team members during the post creation process. This makes it easy for everyone to stay aligned and know which post they’re responsible for.


How to assign a post?

  1. While composing a post, go to the right panel. Click on the "Members" icon (highlighted in the screenshot) to open the assignment panel.
  2. Select one or more team members by checking the box next to their name.
  3. Click Continue at the bottom to confirm the assignment.

What happens when a post is assigned?

  • ✅ The assigned team member will receive a notification.
  • 📆 The post will appear under their Planner, which they can filter using the "Assigned to" filter.
  • 📝 The assigned person can view and edit the post as needed.

Where can team members see assigned posts?

  1. Go to the Planner section. Apply the “Assigned to” filter to only see posts assigned to you.
  2. Open the post to review, make edits, or leave internal comments.

Q1: Can multiple team members be assigned to the same post?

A: Yes, you can assign a single post to multiple team members.

Q2: Will clients or external users see who the post is assigned to?

A: No, post-assignment details are internal. Clients will not be able to see who a post is assigned to.

Q3: What happens if a post is reassigned to someone else?

A: The newly assigned member will receive a notification, and the post will appear under their assigned filter.

Q4: Can I assign posts after saving them as drafts?

A: Yes, you can assign posts even after saving them as drafts. Open the post in edit mode, assign the member(s), and save again.
