ContentStudio FAQs
Got a quick question? Here are the answers to the most common ones we hear from customers.
1. Is there a dark mode for the app?
Currently, ContentStudio doesn't offer a dark mode for the app. The application uses a light interface by default, and there isn't a user-facing dark/light theme toggle in Settings at this time.
For enterprise and white-label workspaces, brand colors and theme accents can be customized by your account admin. This changes the app's look and feel for your workspace but isn't a general dark mode.
2. Can I create Reels/clips from a long-form YouTube video?
Yes. Use the Video Clips tool under AI tools:
Open AI Tools → Video Clips.
Upload a video file or paste a YouTube link (YouTube URL is supported).
Choose your clip settings (duration, orientation, number of clips, captions, and optional instructions).
Click Get Clips and review your generated clips.
Each clip can be downloaded, added to the Composer for posting, scheduled, or saved as a draft. See Video Clipping for the full walkthrough.
3. Can I download the clips I create?
Yes. Every generated clip has a Download button, and you can select multiple clips to download them in bulk. Clips can also be sent to the Composer or scheduled directly from the results screen.
4. Can I send social media performance reports to my clients?
Yes. In Analytics → Overview, use Export to:
Download a PDF report of the selected accounts.
Email the PDF report to up to 25 email addresses.
Schedule recurring PDF reports by email.
See Streamlined Social Media Insights for step-by-step instructions.
5. Which platforms are supported in the Social Inbox? Does it include TikTok?
The Social Inbox supports conversations, comments, and reviews from:
Facebook (comments & Messenger)
Instagram (DMs & comments)
X / Twitter
LinkedIn
YouTube (comments)
Google Business Profile (reviews)
TikTok is not currently supported in the Social Inbox. TikTok comments and DMs need to be managed on TikTok for now — TikTok inbox support is in the works. You can still publish content to TikTok from ContentStudio.
6. Why am I not seeing my Facebook/Instagram DMs or YouTube comments in the Social Inbox?
Try these steps:
Open Social Inbox and click Sync at the top to fetch the latest comments and messages from your connected channels.
Confirm your accounts are still connected (Check Settings → Social Accounts).
For Facebook/Instagram, make sure Page messaging permissions are enabled on your platform — DMs appear under Private Chats, and comments under Comments.
Refresh the connection for the affected account, then click Sync again.
If messages still don't appear after syncing, reach out to support with a screenshot of the inbox (including filters) and the affected page/channel names. Your accounts may be connected and permissioned correctly, and the issue could be on our side — our team will investigate.
